About

The Ecology and Management of Insects Lab (NEMI) was created in July 2016 to get together people interested in investigating issues related to the conservation and management of insects. Currently, undergraduate and graduate students, as well as researchers from different institutions, collaborate on projects involving insect ecology in natural and agricultural ecosystems. These projects include various themes such as the biology and ecology of insects, the evaluation of the risks of biological invasion by insect pests, and the effects of climate change on the occurrence and diversity of insects.

Here we will disclose information on the research that is being carried out by NEMI, as well as news related to the conservation and management of insects and other arthropods. Soon, we also intend to make freely available data related to the research being carried out by our group.
