Principal investigator: Dr. Cesar Augusto Marchioro 
Cesar Augusto Marchioro obtained his Ph.D. in Zoology at the Federal University of Paraná, Brazil (2011). Cesar has experience in the biology and ecology of spiders and insects, working mainly on topics related to agricultural entomology, such as biology, ecology and biological control of insect pests, ecological niche modeling, and integrated pest management. Currently, he is an Adjunct Professor of Zoology and Integrated Pest Management at the Department of Agriculture, Biodiversity and Forest, Federal University of Santa Catarina, Brazil. He supervises undergraduate and graduate students in the Insect Ecology and Management Lab. In his free time, Cesar likes to play tennis and volleyball and watch movies.
Researcher: Dra. Flávia da Silva Krechemer
Flávia da Silva Krechemer is a biologist and Ph.D in Zoology at the Federal University of Paraná (2013). Flávia works with agricultural entomology, including biology and ecology of insect pests and biological control. She is currently a laboratory technician at the Federal University of Santa Catarina and works in the research group “Conservation Agriculture”. Flávia also enjoys playing sports and watching movies in her free time.
Researcher: Dr. Luis Amilton Foerster
Luis Amilton Foerster obtained his Ph.D. in Zoology and Applied Entomology at the University of London (1974). Currently, he is a full professor of Agricultural Entomology and Biological Control at the Federal University of Paraná, Brazil. Dr. Foerster has experience in Agricultural Entomology, particularly biological control and integrated pest management.
M.Sc student: Fábio Sampaio
Fábio is an agronomist graduated from the Universidade Superior Vale do Iguaçu (UNIGUAÇU) in 2015. He has a specialization in sustainable rural development from the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina in 2017. Currently, he is an M.Sc student at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Brazil, working with climate change effects on the voltinism of agricultural pests. In his free time, Fábio likes to watch TV series.
M.Sc. student: Juliana Mota
Juliana holds a degree in Forestry Engineering from the Federal University of Western Pará (UFOPA), in 2017. She has experience in forest resources, particularly in the areas of nature conservation, including the recovery of degraded areas. Juliana studied insect-plant relationships focusing on galling insects, and productive chains of socio-biodiversity for insertion in institutional markets. Currently, she is an M.Sc. student at the Federal University of Santa Catarina. In her free time, Juliana likes to watch sitcoms and practice Muay Thai.
Undergraduate student: Jullia Jacques
Jullia is finishing her major in Agronomy at the Federal University of Santa Catarina. She is a scientific initiation fellow from CNPq and works with phenological models for the estimation of the development rate of an insect pest of economically important crops. Also, she intends to use this model to understand the climate change effects on the number of generations of the pest under field conditions. She also participates in other projects developed by our team. In her free time, Jullia likes to watch TV series.
Undergraduate student: Erick Santos Machado
Erick is an Agronomy undergraduate student at the Federal University of Santa Catarina. Currently, he is participating in a project on the effect of temperature on the development of Mythimna sequax aiming to develop a phenological model for the species. Erick likes to read during his free time.
Aluno de Graduação: Hevellyn Talissa dos Santos
Hevellyn is an Agronomy undergraduate at the Federal University of Santa Catarina. Currently, she is a scientific initiation fellow from CNPq developing the project “Using nonlinear models to estimate the development rate and the influence of climate warming on the voltinism of Neoleucinodes elegantalis (Guenée) in Southern Brazil “. In her free time, Hevellyn likes to listen to music and watch movies.
